Oct. 17th, 2018 08:24 pmHe's in need of distraction. Inej has gone to open the club and Nina is off doing something, and, honestly, he doesn't have many other people. Still, he and Matthias have come a long way, since that first day in the Crow Club, since Kaz had kicked him when he wouldn't stay down. Matthias hardly ever calls him a Demjin anymore.
So Kaz pulls out his phone and he texts him, offers games and beer, dinner if he wants it.
It's definitely better than nothing.

Date: 2018-10-17 09:13 pm (UTC)When Matthias makes it up to the top floor, Kaz opens the door, sleeves pushed up, gloves discarded (but still within easy reach). He's refusing to cook for tonight, so he's ordered out instead, stuff that he and INej have had before, things that he's liked. He raises one eyebrow, taking in Matthias' massive frame, and what he's carrying with him.
"Is that a ham?"

It had turned out that wasn't how bacon was made.
